Washism was a Japanese quarterly magazine published by Gentosha and Shogakukan. Yoshinori Kobayashi, a manga artist, was the editor-in-chief. 31 issues were published between 2002-2012. The origin of the name of the magazine is a combination of the first person "washi" and "fascism". Washism was known for manga, dialogue, hard-line criticism and loose jokes.

This issue (Vol 28) is about the Ainu (minority indigenous ethnic group) as Japanese citizens. Magazine is 192 pages and is written almost entirely in Japanese. This issue is rare/out-of-print.
