Precious CDV from the late 19th century of a man in a suit sitting for his photo. The case is wrought in leather, wood, cloth and brass with a glass front. Based on his bow tie, I believe this piece is from the late 19th century. He also has colorized cheeks (done by hand after the photo) which is a fun touch!
Unfortunately, the front cover of this case has been removed (note the clasps), but the back half and photo remain intact. There is also a small metal hanger at the top.
Measures 3.75" h x 3.25" w.
