Heavy duty set of 2 vintage Wiss pinking shears from 1948. Both appear lightly used with some wear to the black enamel coated handles. Two original instruction sheets are included … sheets are both the same. Original box included and has some stains and tatters. The smaller shear is marked model CB7. The larger is marked with the patent numbers. I initially thought this was a Model A, but more research is needed. This larger piece felt a bit stiff, but cut nicely on a piece of cotton fabric. The smaller Model CB7 appears to need sharpening. With a little TLC, this would be a great set to add to your sewing box or collection!
APPROX MEASUREMENTS:
- Large: 9” long overall
- Small: Model CB7 = 7 ½” long overall
CONDITION:
- Graphics inscribed are nice and readable
- Some light scratches
- Some small worn spots on the enamel coated handles
- Large shear feels a bit stiff, but cuts nice
- Smaller Model CB7 appears to need sharpening
