Signed first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Atsa Mi Paese by Victor Mazzarella (Vantage Press, 2009). The acclaimed educator tells the story of his family’s immigration from Italy to the United States and the way of life for those who came before him. With illustrations and photographs. Signed and inscribed by the author on title page. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Liquid damage to top and bottom edges of jacket spine and to covers nearby, causing faint staining and mild waviness. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages clean and unmarked though tanned and with some faint discoloration to outer edges. See photos for condition.
