49mm 1A filter the metal screw on has threads on both sides but one side is bent. The shallower threads on the other are fine.
Pentax turns on when battery was inserted just now. (battery was like $11 at Walgreen's if memory serves me)
Minolta has a 2CR5 battery pack inside the display turns on and blinks. When I unlocked the built in lens cover it started ticking and won't stop until I taken the battery out. Just observational from 5 minutes of monkeying around with it. Battery is now in the bottom of the case.
Both the Pentax and the Minolta battery compartments were corrosion free.
