• Top of the plate is black with white rectangles and a red/orange trim. Underside of plate is yellow with 4 rounded legs and “CODY” signed in black

Brilliant colors and wild patterns applied to loosely defined forms are Cody Pottery signatures. The sense of humor in Cody's low-fire earthenware is intentional. A good laugh is a welcomed artistic outcome.
Implications - Terri Cody has been selling her amazing ceramic pieces since 1988 through her own business. She hand makes and hand paints everything. She likes to underglaze with what is called Scraffito design and finishes the product with a clear food-safe glaze.
