First printing of the first trade paperback edition of The Bachman Books by Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman (Plume / New American Library, 1985). Contains the first four novels published by King under the Bachman pseudonym: Rage / Roadwork / The Long Walk / The Running Man. Mild rubbing/scuffing to faces of covers and shelf wear around the edges, including some chipping and creases. Corners bumped and worn. Binding is faintly visible in a few gutters and with reading crease to spine though binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Small torn and taped area to top left corner of front cover. Previous owner’s personal stamp to title page, otherwise all pages clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
