Vintage c. 1890s Antique Erzgebirge German Miniature Wooden Flat Bottom Noah's Ark Toy with Noah & Wife + 17 Animal Figurines Biblical Flood
Measures roughly 15" long, 4.5" wide, and 7" in height. Paper Lithograph detailing on roof is largely intact, which isnt common, as this ark (and its contemporaries) is about 130 years old. Excellent condition paint (all wood
surfaces decorated with paint, except for roof, which is paper Lithograph. Cloth hinges. 19 Figurines all together. Itemized Breakdown: 1 Noah 1 wife 1 horse 2 dogs 2 cats 6 cows 3 pigs 1 wolf 1 elephant.
Please note one pig is missing 2 legs and therefore is unable to stand upright on its own. There is handwriting (possibly German) inside. I'd try to translate it, but it's just too faint to read. Sold as pictured.
