Vintage skirt by Joyce ( Joyce Sportswear), mid 80’s. “Crafted with pride in USA” logo comes out of the campaign of the same name launched in 1984 in effort to encourage American consumers to buy domestically made products.
This logo was seen as “ the 1980s version of the old International Ladies Garment Workers Union symbol”.
This absolutely lovely skirt is in good, gently used condition. No stains, pilling or holes. The hem has come loose and has subsequently been reattached.
