This beautiful white opalescent French glass covered bowl was made by Mosser c. 1950s. Indeed, the bowl and lid are molded to look like they were formed out of series of clamshells. The beading detail is just exquisite. It measures approx. 7" high and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
When held up to light, the opalescence lights up with fire. To enjoy this quality, I suggest placing an LED tea light inside. It makes a most extraordinary accent light! An extra strong LED tea light is included free in the purchase.
