SALE Abstract Tiger Sterling Silver Wire Wrapped Fused Dichroic Glass Pendant.
This sterling silver wire wrapped fused dichroic glass pendant is made with a single layer of textured dichroic in a stunning bright gold color. Layered with bits of black glass frit and capped in heavy clear for incredible depth. Measures 26mm wide by 55mm in length, including bail.
This piece was entirely hand crafted by me in my home studio!
The glass cabochons are made by cutting and carefully layering together dichroic glass bits on a ceramic shelf placed in a kiln and fired. (unless a special technique or otherwise specified ). When I’m happy with the piece it is then shaped with lapidary equipment, then placed back in the kiln to polish the edge and anneal the piece for extra strength.
The cabochon is then wrapped using 4 - 6 feet of wire in a secure cage style setting.
