On offer is this uniquely cool studio pottery low, squat vase by California Bonsai tree grower and potter, Jim Gremel. Gorgeous shiny red lusterware with a crackle charcoal slip. Asian style form with a minimal crackle-effect design on one side, reminiscent of two blades of grass - if grass had the texture of lizard skin. Please see the last photo for instructions about how to display and care for this piece. I found the instructions on a listing of a very similar item by the artist. Artist initials on the bottom; JG. In great preowned condition with no cracks or chips.
