STUNNING, RARE, BLUE DIAMOND TURQUOISE - PENDANT
I've learned a LOT about semi-precious stones and turquoise in particular, in the last ten years. I know what's good, and I know what's junk. Having said that, this is a very rare top of the line quality Blue Diamond Mine turquoise stone. The Blue Diamond mine, now closed, was located in central Nevada, from the late 50's to 1980.
This stone is unusually beautiful in comparison to other Blue Diamond that I've seen, though there seems to be very little from the mine on the open market. Anything I've seen has been in shops and sell for prices far above this listing and are not even close in beauty or size. As you can see, the bail supports both the large pendant and a large necklace. Listing is for pendant only.
Produced by legendary master Navajo silversmith Ella Peter, her pieces sell for prices far above this listing and for much smaller stones. Look it up. :)
