It has an inner top diameter of 11.5" (7.75" inner bottom diameter) and has a 9" inner height. It weighs 1.6 lbs. It has a soil capacity of 2.87 gallons/0.38 cubic feet/11.5 quarts. The convenient size makes this planter great for growing plants and flowers both inside and outside.
- DURABLE CONSTRUCTION - This indoor planter pot is made from linear low-density polyethylene (polyresin) to last through years of use. - ROOT PROTECTION - This decorative planter for outdoor plants features a double-walled design. The inner wall protects and insulates roots from changes in temperature. The space between the inner and outer walls can be filled with sand or gravel to prevent it from tipping over in windy conditions. The plug at the bottom of the planter is not for drainage; this is where it can be filled with gravel or sand.
- OPTIONAL DRAINAGE HOLE - While there isn't a drainage hole pre-drilled in this modern garden pot, one can be added to the area indicated on the bottom using a 1/4" drill bit. Be sure the drill penetrates both the interior and exterior walls. If a drainage hole is added and the planter is used indoors, be sure to place a saucer underneath to prevent water from spilling.
